Thanks Nell, I thought I mught be doing something wrong having tried several names. Will have to try again because it would be so useful with a couple of my families. I know they were in London or Middlesex at that time. Thanks, Jean |

Jean I've found some people, but not others who I know were there. It does cover only 3 counties at the moment. I have also done address searches and found some of the street numbers aren't there either, so I'm not convinced its complete. The entries I have found are just as prone to transcriber error as other censuses. nell |

Has anyone had siccess with the 1861 census? I have tried several names but no results for any of them. Ideas anyone? Thanks |
