	Hi Angela, Had a look for you but couldn't see any James Barnes born in Braunton. The 2 l found in 1848 was:- Thomas 31 ag lab born Chustow devon Maria 24 ' James 3 ' Mary Ann 1 month ' James Barnes brother 21 ag lab address Venn Kingsbridge Churstow. The other was born in Bicton.Devon James Barnes 44 gardener Farnham Surrey Mary Ann 41 Eltham Kent James 3 Bicton Devon Garden House Bicton and Dotton St. Thomas Don't know if this helps any.
