Can anyone tell me how to do this, in short sentences and words of one syllable or less? I did look at the help topics file for PAF but it didnt help me! When I exported my tree from here to PAF all the sources that I entered on GR went with it, but I've done some more work to my tree since then, and can't work out how to include the sources. Thanks Lisa

Hi Lisa I tried doing this a few months ago without success, in the end I put my sources on the notepad bit, I did a thread asking for help, I will see if I can find it and nudge it up for you as I cant remember what everyone suggested on it :-) Karen

Double click on the name you want to edit and a box appears. If you wanted to add, for example, an approxiate date of birth you had from a Census, enter 'Abt 1867' for the year and below 'Sheffield, Yorkshire'. Next to where you've put the place is an 's'. Double click this and another box appears for you to enter the source. This will be blank if you've not done any yet! Click 'new' at the bottom and yet another box appears where you could put '1881 Census'. Click 'OK' and the box will close. You then have to highlight the source in the previous box and click 'select'. I have now got all the Census listed from 1841-1901, BMD Register, birth cert, marriage cert, death cert, information from Fred Bloggs etc. and just add a new one when needed.
