Maureen, How kind of you to use valuable credits to do the lookups for me! Do you happen to recall where the Joan G was married? I shall have a look myself anyway .... Dorchester seems a long way from 'home' for little Joanie. But her father has popped up in so many odd places during my research that nothing would surprise me! Thank you once again for your help and very kind interest. Kind regards Jane

Has anyone any ideas how I could discover more about my Gt Uncle & his daughter post-1931? They were living at 8 Park Approach, Welling, Kent. They are: George Samuel SANDY (b 1882, Diss/Norwich, Norfolk) Joan Constance SANDY (b 1921, Woolwich, London) Wife/Mother Ellen died in March 1931. Short of desperately and laboriously trawling the BMD registers (yawn!), I can't think what to do next. I'd like to know if George remarried (doubtful) or if Joan married (and who to). All suggestions gratefully received! Thanks in advance for 'listening'! Regs Jane
