Question re Ancestry please.

Can anyone tell me please. If I subscribe to Ancestry, are Wiltshire and Nottinghamshire available for 1891? Also, is it likely to be just as impossible to find Smith as it is on 1901. Thanks - Chrissie

yes, the whole 1891 census for england and wales is on there

Thank you Steve. Can you tell me if it is the same process as 1901. Only there are so many Smiths that it is almost impossible to tie them up on 1901. Chrissie

Yes, I think all the census years 1871 onwards are fully transcribed now. I have full access to ancestry. 1861 is going to be on there in May I believe.

Four counties left for 1901 Cumberland, Northumberland, All remaining counties will be available in the upcoming months... Royal Navy, Westmorland
