If I were you I would contact Genes Reunited to ask them about it.

Helen, you have just matched my thought exactly. Just gone to renew mine and noticed the padlock not there so havnt yet done it. Dont like putting my card details in with no padlock but it says secure. Claire xx

I have just gone ahead and renewed my membership but I was concerned to notice that on the page where I entered my card details there was no yellow padlock icon in the bottom corner. Normally I wouldn't have carried on unless the padlock was there but my membership expires today so I didn't really have an option. I have emailed GR to ask about this but thought I would mention it on here as well.
