Hi John, Don't think it can be the right one as this Samuel was born Manchester, and John (it says John Robert) was born Blackpool. They are living in Bradford cum Beswick area of Manchester. Kath. x |

It's just that on Ancestry 1871 census there is a Samuel Anderson who was a Millwright, with a son John who was 12 - I know this is a bit young for your John, but I take very little notice of ages on census returns, because very few of them seem to be correct. Kath. x |

Hi Louise, Thanks for looking up the 1871 census. I dont think it is the John I am looking for , as his Father is named as Samuel on the Wedding Cert in 1891. Thanks again! john |

Hi Margaret, I have been trying to find a relitive called John Anderson, born in 1855. My Mother looked for him for some time and gave up and asked if i could find out anything. He lived in Liverpool and Married Catherine Lynass in july 1891, had 6 children and Died on the 6th dec 1917. I am told he was from Scotland and his father was Samuel, but on the 1881 census i came accross a John Anderson in Pison at Lancaster, I just wondered if it was him before he was Married. Regards.
