I have just been in the imperial war musum site and found this info By the end of this year (2005) it is pland to bring on line EVERY war memorial, listing every name on them. At present you can see this list only at the IWM, the project is pland to take a feather 10 years(?) to compleate, were you will then get photos of each Mamorial and links for each name to CWGC. and a history of that name. This dose not only inclued WW1 and WW2 Mamoriales but ones for EVERY conflict that has one. You can find more on the IWM site, put in there search box National inventory of war mamorials.

That will be great once it's all up and running. Our local memorial is already online (a local guy has done a website about it) and it was through stumbling across that by accident that I found Grannie's brother's name listed and subsequently his CWCG information. Lou
