My mother-in-law just mentioned about hearing something on the news this morning. She got the impression a census had become available online? For a split second I got all excited it was the 1911, but know I am just wishful thinking! I'm curious as to what the item was referring to? Did anyone else see it? Many Thanks Helen

Apparently it was mentioned about the 1861 census being available on 1837online

Was I hearing things or did Dermott say it was the first census that was taken? Sack that researcher!

Oh thanks for that. It's no good to me though as it doesn't cover Staffs yet. I got all excited for nothing! Thanks for the reply :)
