Lisa they are in the same vicinity.... Old Monkland is in Coatbridge whilst New Monkland is Airdrie. Both are Lanarkshire though. What name are you researching? Shaz x |

Hi, I am searching for family in Scotland, I have no idea if Old Monkland and New Monkland are the same place, separate or are now called something else, going back to the 1700's and 1800's, also how can I find census information for this area? Thanks Lisa |
