I'm obviously doing something wrong cos went to search for someone on the 1861 last night and figure he must be mistranscribed so tried searching under his christian name and occupation. And there's not one Tailor in any of the 4 counties currently available called William in 1861. That's amazing! Lou

It could be due to the problem at a web host in London yesterday. It caused major problems for a lot of sites and businesses. Paul

I just did a search, paid to view image and got an image which didn't have the name on it that I searched for. The site then threw me off. The whole thing is a nightmare - it's 1901 all over again! Jill

I had problems with 1837 online as when I had put in the details for search, the search button did nothing. I did email them and they came back with a suggestion, but that didn't work so I emailed again and have had an e back suggesting I ring them and they will talk me through it. Jim

I was using it earlier, when on the news I saw that it was being advertised in the next minute the site crashed, so obviously everyone went and logged on, I expect they are having a 'windfall' of a day today! What about us that already have credits, cant get on!!

I have had trouble just doing a census search as I keep getting an error message due to the number of people searching the site. All the images I requested were fine but did take longer than normal to load and one is still spooling instead of printing.

Ann, Send an email telling them and they may send you your lost credits. I had a problem a few days ago with images not fully downloading and they gave me 10 extra.
