Can anyone advise.. I have just gone to the FreeBMD site and found the following information - now I don't know what to do with it? Southampton 2c 10....plus the name...Thats all you need to order a cert :o)

This advice is probably too late but as it says on the FreeBMD site, you should always check the volume and page number on 1837 online or in the GRO indexes before ordering the cert just in case it has been mistranscribed on FreeBMD!

If it is a Southampton one, you can order it through the registry office. And you dont need all the numbers just the name and year. And if you pay by card on the phone it usualy arrives the next day. They are very very good.
