Thanks chaps! Glad I'm not alone in being amazed at the huge numbers! I'd forgotten about the reload thingy, it's obvious really isn't it. Not one of my brighter days. Kind of you all to take the trouble to reply. Good luck with your own searches. Regs Jane

Jane, What you are seeing here is the effect of people up-loading a newer version of their tree. Because you have to delete your old tree first, when the names are loaded back on again, Genes Reunited treats them as though they are new.

Has there recently been an amazingly high influx of new members, does anyone know? For the last week or so, I seem to have had about 50% more 'new names' matching with my surname interests - but when I review them it doesn't seem to be getting me any further ahead and some even show that I've contacted them before! Regs Jane
