In trying to decipher an occupation on an 1841 marriage certificate I have just come across the following fab list of old occupations and their definitions. It solved my puzzle & so I thought it might be useful to someone else as well. www(.)cpcug(.)org/user/jlacombe/terms(.)html Remove the brackets as usual Helen |
