I have located the birth on 1837 online of John William Hudson, 1843 March qtr Hull. I would like to order the certificate, but am having trouble deciphering the vol number. I would be grateful if someone could take a look. Sue

Volume number for Hull should be 22 according to lots of entries on FreeBMD around that time, but I didn't check the actual entry you mention.

Thankyou Christina, I couldn't find him on Ancestry of Free BMD either. I eventually located him on Yorkshire BDM and then checked it out on 1837 online. Sue
