Hi there are Divorces on the National Archavist web site, Cannot recall off hand the dates but the 1880's are included as i found one for a lady not so long ago in 1888. She had thourght her ancestor had died. Colette xx

Hi, Some early divorces can be found in the pro online catalogue. That's all online. For any other a personal visit is necessary There is a closure on divorce papers of 75 years, I think. Gwynne

It's unlikly as the records would be part of the court records. But if anyone knows of one I hope it goes back to 1880's as I have a possable bigamist that I'd like to clear.

is there a site for online records for divorces some time probably in the 1940s or is that classified information
