I have a family clearly alive and kicking in the 1871 census. Then the 5 of them just disappeared, Thats it- gone, then 20yrs later I locate the parents But for the life of me I cannot find after 1871 the 3 children nor can I find their births registered in 1837 site, I`ve tried the various surname spellings, but nothing. Its a mystery 3 people all gone. Linda

Definitely not Grace. Think of a boys name

The Grace name has always confused me, but on the page I have printed off it clearly states Grace, I wondered if there was a mix up and it was a girl, I do know there was aboys name called Gracian wondered if it was short for that. L

Trusting the transcription is a mistake. The printed bit is only what the foreign transcriber thought they saw! I think it ends in ne it is the same as the end of the Jane on the film.
