Help with old maps

The old-maps map of Lanark is from 1864. I usually get there via the Get-a-Map on the OS site and then click on the Historical maps link which takes you almost directly to the corresponding place on a nineteenth century map. I find it easier to get the location using the modern OS (or even Multimap 1st to get an OS ref and then put the ref into the OS search box!). It sounds roundabout, but works for me. Christine

I am trying to find any old maps of a town in Lanarkshire but am not having much luck, even on google. Can anyone suggest any websites that I could try? Jill in East Sussex
