I must admit, it might be nice to find out why there was a ten year gap between my Dad and his sister. Perhaps medical records would explain it. You see, now you've got me hooked!

It's a tempting thought, but I wonder whether that would be invading my Grandparents privacy a bit too much. Then again very useful to know whether they had any conditions that might be inherited. But would I want to know???? Natalie

Well.....my grans are held at the nearest hospital to where she lived...their records department. Cant wait to see them..i know it sounds morbid but i may find something really interesting. Emma x

I have found out that medical records are held for 26 years after someone passes away...i am ordering a copy of my grans,, it may hold some clues! It costs £23.00 then 20p a sheet. Emma x
