Help with reading census please

Hi all Could any please advise me me what to do i think i may have found the death of my gg grandmother Ester Churchley Its on the july-sept qt 1855 but i cant read the vol + page proberly the area is correct. She was alive on the 1851 but my gg grandad is down as a widower on the census for 1861 and he is in a workhouse???. Many thanks for any help. Theresa. x

Hi Theresa I take it you have found the entry on the 1837 site. Have you checked to see if the death is on FreeBMD? Jeanette x

Typical Laird! lol How about asking if anyone on the Records Board has a spare credit to give you a second pair of eyes. Or maybe you can email 1837 and ask for their assistance. Jeanette x

The image is on FreeBMD (page 382 for that quarter) Churchley Esther Mary, Islington 1b 108 is how I read it. The 'b' is indistinct but Islington was Volume 1b The name (also unclear) is alphabetically between Churchill and Churchman. Islington deaths in that quarter were on pages 103 to 163ish.

I should add that FreeBMD has transcibed it as Church_y Esther Mary Islington 1b 138
