Thinking of getting Family Historian 2.3

Thanks for the replies! I think thats settled it, I'm going to get it. I played with a demo version and managed to do a GEDCOM file from my present VERY tempremental programme. It will be a relief when I've made the change - perhaps there'll be less crashes and consequent bad language and raised blood pressure!!! Thanks everyone - I'll let you know how I get on. Anne

Hi I`ve also bought 'Family Historian' I wish there was a separate manual though. I don`t want to wear the printer out as the manual is 140 pages long! Bi

I've been using Family Historian for about a year now, I'm really pleased with it - so flexible. You can put loads of information into it. Especially like the way it handles photos, you can put in a group photo and then assign just the face to the individual. It uses GEDCOM as its native file language, so no need to convert when importing or exporting. Also, its British. Can't fault it so far. Derek.

I have this as an upgrade of an earlier version, and I think it is very good Stan

I'm thinking of buying this program after reading reviews of the 'top ten' genealogy programs. It sound like its the one for me Does anyone else use it? I have been playing with the demo and it all seems OK. I'd appreciate comments though. Anne
