Reg District Lindley ?

Could anyone tell me please which area the registration district was in 1905 which looks like Lindley the following reference is 6 followed by what looks like o so could be e or a perhaps? Thanks - Chrissie

There isn't a 6e. It goes from 6a to 6d.

Thank you all. It looks like Huddersfield then. I was hoping it was Romford or Colchester. It was a birth reference. Thanks again - Chrissie

Huddersfield itself is a registration district, but the reference is 9a. Wendy x

The Lindley near Huddersfield is a place, not a registration district. 6a to 6d covers (roughly) the counties of Gloucestershire, shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire Essex is 4a

That's very kind of you Wendy. It's 1905 September quarter Edward Rich. Hoping it was Colchester or Romford. It's actually someone asking for it on another thread, so I went in for a look and found this one. Chrissie
