In 1901 I have Emma Raynor,15, residing with her stepfather Abraham Hilton in Oldham. Mum died 1893, dad died 1891. I do not know what became of young Kezia as I have found no death yet. George

I have found this, Unfortunatley, It does not look like 'Kezia' has been transcribed yet. You could order the certificate. Name: Raynor, Edmund Record Type: Marriages Quarter: December Year: 1883 District: Oldham County: Greater Manchester Lancashire Volume: 8d Page: 896 Have you looked for them in 1901? Pat

Phoenix Report 26 Feb 2005 19:32

I think you're right Kezia, but spelt Kerzia. For the little girl, the r is the same as in Henry on the line below and the K has a distinctive kink that the H below does not.

Patricia

Patricia Report 26 Feb 2005 19:10

Could be but the first letter looks a lot like the H on others.
