Thanks all! It hasn't sunk in yet - it's so large - my brains a bit frazzled! It does confirm my research so far is correct which I'm really pleased about and of course I have sent my branch. I was a little worried as to the accuracy of it but my info matches hers and Joannes line seems to be correct also so I'm quite confident. The lady on the website has been researching the Babers for 30 years worldwide! Key your names into google - you never know what it might throw up! Debby

That really is great news Debby, The same thing happened to me when I made my first contact and subsequent connection, a week after joining Genes. I was really thrilled to receive all the information that had taken this lady years to research. Now we write regulary! Aileenx

Well done, and lucky old you!!! You must be so excited. I had a tree sent to me from an elderly man in California which was very sweet of him. I always try to help people by sending off all that I have on rellies if I know there is a connection (copies of photos, wills, information, etc). I think that it is nice to help each other. I had a really nice thank you card at the weekend from a fourth cousin who I found on GR and sent some stuff to. Makes it all worth while!!

Surely that's the whole idea of this site? I have received whole trees from people with dozens of relations I didn't have and in return have sent mine to several people to enable them to complete missing sections.

Debby, Congrats on finding your tree what a bonus.... Funny there is a couple who have a tree on the web with a number of the surnames i am interested in i have emailed them and offered to swap informtion but havent heard back yet.... Peter I already had half of it from the website and all of mine matched what she had on there except she has gone right up to present with hers. Also she didn't have my branch on from my grandad down to me and it only went back to early 1800s. But the one she's sent me has it all on back to the 1600s! I've promised her I will send the certificates I have but I think she's sent me it in good faith - she already had my great grandads so she doesn't need my copy! Debby

A while ago a lady on here - Joanna where are you??!! sent me an e mail asking if we were connected. She directed me to a website which had my family tree on and her family tree on seperately so we thought there must be a connection further back. WELL, I've e mailed the lady whose website it was and sent her all my details that link me to the tree as she didn't have my branch and guess what! She's only sent me the FULL tree going back to 1650 - unbelieveable! One big happy Debby!!!
