Need help IDing a solider or dating a pic. even if its realy yucky as I can clean them up (to a point) Have you got a pic and do not know were its been taken, I will have a go at sorting it out....BUT NO PROMESES....miracels I leve to upstairs

Hi Peter I've got a couple of pics of my grandfather in WW1 if you'd like to take a look. Not worried about the condition but would be interested in any clues about what he was doing. One is a group photo which I could share with others......if I only knew which regiment etc! Thanks Natalie

Hi Peter, If you don't mind taking a look I've got a picture of 2 unknown gents, one in uniform, probably from the late 1800s. I'm hoping that if we get some clues re. date and type of uniform I'll be able to work out who they are. I have someone in a sailor outfit but I believe he was a soldier some people said he would have been a marine could you identify his uniform please and a photo of a wedding would love to know roughly what year it was taken thanks a lot

Seriously, though, I have a photo of a small child (toddler) who I thought was my father, but the clothes look a bit over the top for a small boy born in 1908 - all frilly and girlish. Hi peter, I have a really interesting photo of my great uncle from when he was about 15. He is holding onto a bicycle of which i presume is his work bicycle. the bicycle has a glass case on the front which holds a mini laundry. I admit it's not a great example i have on the pc, until I get a new scanner I can't do much about it. I'm trying to foind out the location of the photo. I know it says Wirral railway in the background, and I myself am from, wallasey , Wirral. I can't work out where abouts this station was, any ideas? How are we going about sending you our pics by the way? Maria :)

hi peter thank you for wanting to sort age of photos, i have been trying for past 5 yrs to see what age my grandmother is i have two photos one in uniform im not sure a nurse or domestic, taken in n/york i would like to know what age she would be also a photo of my father on gran knee he was born 1897 and looks about 2mths i would like to know her age , i have only her name kathleen farrell and phots to look her up, as my father was fosted out, would apprieceate
