Irish civil registration Irish Protestant marriages started to be recorded on 1 April 1845 and all births, marriages and deaths from 1 January 1864. Records are with the Registrar General at Joyce House, 8-11 Lombard Street, Dublin 2, + 353 1635 40000, www.groireland.ie. Civil records for Northern Ireland from 1922 are kept by the Registrar General of Northern Ireland at Oxford House, 49-55 Chichester Street, Belfast BT1 4HL (0232 235221), www.nisra.gov.uk/gro. nell

As you're in the era of parish registers, you will find them either in the actual parish church/record office, or the LDS may have filmed them. If they're not online then you'll need to visit an LDS family history centre to view the microfilm/fiche.
