Hi Pete I'm also doing both sides of the tree. Hubbie's are a dream...they're where they should be, stay in the same village for 50 years (most of them in the same house), they use a wide variety of names for their children and they all have different occupations. Mine are hell! They have a total of 7 names which they recycle constantly, they move all the time, they have the children baptised in a different place to where they were born, they're all Ag Labs or Cotton Spinners so no occupation search in 1881 option with that one, one of my ggrandfather's was illegitimate and my Mum's maternal grandparents turn out to be from Ireland and to date I have found 5 different versions of how they want to spell their surname!
