Stupid question re FT2005

Thanks Brian, I did do this once before but somehow ended up with all the old info on the program instead of the updated one so I sort of wondered if there is a default file - thanks for your advice though! Nervously eyeing all the files!

Heather Try deleting one it will go into the recycle bin if FTM does'nt like it you can restore it Brian

As I have mentioned, am not a techi whizz - so appreciate help re this one. When I produce a gedcom to export on my FT2005, can I safely delete it when I next produce an updated gedcom? Not sure if thats clear to anyone. Basically I seem to have ended up with about 4 different gedcom files on the program.
