Crista, I've got myself well and truly confused!!! Charles and Mary Ellen got married in 1880 (if you look on Ancestry she is actually on the list with him 3 times and her surname spelt Bailey, Bayley and Byley!) They had Olive in 1880 I'm not convinced that the Charles that both you and i are looking at in 1881 is my Charles. Claire x |

Can someone please help me locate my G G Gran? Her name was Mary Ellen Deaville (born Bailey but could be spelled Bayley), she may have been known as Ellen. i have no idea when she was born, but she married charles Deaville in 1880. They had 3 kids Olive, Joseph and Charles who all appear on the 1881,1891 and 1901 census with him but she never appears! if she hadn't had 3 kids i'd have said she never existed. Can't find any records for her what so ever; no birth, marriage or death record for the bl**dy woman!!! i'm guessing that she died between 1886 and 1895 as Charles had a son with another woman, but that's all i've got! pleeeeeeeease help!!!! c x |
