I am at the desperate stage and wondering if someone can help. I have a photo of a man called MR Gardiner who may have been the father of my father-in-law. Mr Gardiner may have been born between 1895 to 1905 and could have lived in Sussex or Surrey. He may have already been married with a daughter when my father-in-law was born so it was all kept a secret. If anyone has Gardiner connections from those areas from the early part of the 20th century I will gladly email them a copy of the photo in the hope that someone can put a name to him. Many Thanx Ian Stevenson
