Hi, can someone advise me please. I have a date for my ggg grandparents wedding (1830) - confirmed from two different sources, I have the date, place etc. but where can I order a copy of the cert from, or is the only way I will get the info. to go and have a look at the registers? Sorry for being so dim. Trudy

Trudy There are no certs before 1837. You can get a copy from the parish register, but it wont give fathers names etc. You may have witnesses, but there will be no ages of bride and groom. Try the relevant county record office Margaret
