twins on same birth certificate ??????

I ordered a birth cert and only noticed today he had a twin who is actually on the same page and volumne number so when the cert arrives will it say both name or do I have to order the other name too |

hi ,there will be two seperate birth certificates on my twins they both have the time they were born as well hope this helps tracyg |

Before you rush to order two certs, I thought I was ordering two certs when I asked for 2c-24a & 2c-25. It was actually a single cert, but it had two refs because there was an entry in the 'name registered after first registration' column, at the end. This situation arises the Baptismal name is different from the initial registration name - both names get a reference, but close together. I did get the duplication cert refunded when I sent it back. thanks Christine but they are the same volumne and page number and as I asked for one name I suppose it means I will only get that one will have to order the other ones name too |

Sorry, I didn't realise you meant that you knew there were twins. In my case I thought, when I found the two refs, that there was a previously unsuspected twin. Christine |

I recieved ONE twins cert today too :o)))) Time of birth on it too. 12.55am Cant wait for the other one to arrive!!!!!!! If your looking in here Mr Postman...Im in ALL week!!! and will great you at the front door every morning lol Gerri x |

A birth certificate for a twin will have the time of birth on. This is for inheritance purposes. One has to be the eldest! |
