Hi I just registered this afternoon with the new site Family Relatives, everything went ok to begin with, then I took a break for about 30 mins. On my return to the site, it would not accept my password, and also I could no longer see the ison for the 'search' facility, is anyone else having this problem// Also I must mention, that I find it very disappointing, after all, you are really only getting the same info as on 1837, but there is another problem, I entered a particular name, and ticked for a particular area, unfortunately, out of five pages of results, there was only ONE name corresponding to that asked, and when I ticked for the image, I just got the page from the 1837 indexes, BUT, to my disgust, the particular name I had requested was there, but not the area requested!! it was completely useless to me. at the moment I feel I`ve wasted my £6. Does anyone have any tips to correct what I`m doing, am I missing some important procedure?? I tried to follow the instructions given, I was so excited to begin with, thinking I was going to solve a puzzle, only to be shattered at the results!!! Or am I just being too 'picky' and expecting too much, after all the hype about the site, I did expect a bit more for my money

I hope you emailed them with all this. They were really generous when I moaned when the site first opened and gave me a lot of free units for my inconvenience. I have found it really useful. I guess depends on what you are looking for and when but certainly for the bmd on the 1866-1920 it is much better than 1837online. You can enter name, area, date span and get a choice of matches which you dont pay for until you click to view. Do mail them.

I Keep getting time out, it would not accept my password, they emailed me a password that was then deemed invalid. Emailed them again and they totally ignored me, I wont be visiting that site again. Christine
