certificate wait and times

I ordered a certificate last night from the FRC and its the usual turn around time of 1 week. Whats the difference between the GRO and FRC??!! TLAs eh? Jason.

When they mention days, Norma, they mean working days to when it is sent out....but I myself take no notice of what they say....cos some have come within 3 days of requesting and one was 5 weeks....You just have to be patient, wait, and hope!! :)))))

Norma Its hard to answer that cos every register office is different. I ordered one from Derby on Friday and it came on Tuesday, yet I am still waiting for one from Liverpool ordered in November! Lou

Hi i got them from leeds they have a BMD website and you just print of the one you want and post it to them. I sent it wednesday and they have taken the money today, so fingers crossed it wont be to long.

Hi, When they say there is a wait of about 5-10 days does that mean they will be posted out after that time or thats the time then they find the cert and post out !!!. I should of asked really when on phone but kids were making noise lol. Thanks impatiently waiting for certs.
