Can someone give me the address of The London National Archives, and also confirm exactly what can be researched there and back to what dates? Many thanks. Ken. |

If you're looking for BMD and censuses in London, then the best place to go for that is the Family Records Office in Myddleton Street, Islington. |

Ken The National Archives are in Kew as stated above. Website here: www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ The Family Records Centre (which is part of TNA) has bmd indexes and censuses and website is: www.familyrecords.gov.uk/frc/ If you are after archives for London, you need the London Metropolitan Archives (for parish registers, electoral rolls, school records and lots more) . the LMA is 5 minutes' from the FRC and you can find website by googling. nell |
