Can someone give me the address of The London National Archives, and also confirm exactly what can be researched there and back to what dates? Many thanks. Ken.

If you're looking for BMD and censuses in London, then the best place to go for that is the Family Records Office in Myddleton Street, Islington.

Ken The National Archives are in Kew as stated above. Website here: www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ The Family Records Centre (which is part of TNA) has bmd indexes and censuses and website is: www.familyrecords.gov.uk/frc/ If you are after archives for London, you need the London Metropolitan Archives (for parish registers, electoral rolls, school records and lots more) . the LMA is 5 minutes' from the FRC and you can find website by googling. nell
