Natalie Not sure if this applies to you, but there is an extensive Indian archive at the British Library for baptisms, marriages etc for people working in the East India Company. I imagine your relatives would be marrying either employees of this company, or of the British army in India. nell |

Hi Chloe, Yes I have tried there, I have the births of the children there. There mum was born there also (know this from 1891 census) so can't search for marriage under her maiden name as I don't know it and I have looked under her husbands name but nothing came up. I am sure they married there! Very frustrating! Thanks for your message.xxx |

Have you tried looking on the IGI (www.familysearch.org) for marriages in India. I found the baptisms of three of my grandmother's aunts there (in India). Chloe |

I know my ancestors were in luckow in India with the services. I have found birth records on 1837 online but cannot find marriage records. Is there any other sites where I can find this information? Thanks Natalie |
