Stratford is E.15 and Canning Town is E16

Hi Natalie, I used to live up there in East Ham. You will find Plaistow inbetween Canning Town and Stratford. They are in the registration district of West Ham. Sandra

And if anyone goes to London, do have a trip on the Docklands Light Railway. I was amazed when this little train came shooting along with no driver!

Canning Town is on the north bank of the Thames and Stratford is north and slightly west. They are linked by the Docklands Light Railway with just one stop (West Ham) between them. nell

Im not absolutely sure, but I think Canning Town is E15 and Stratford E16 - long time since I lived in London. Why not look up a multimap and see how close they are, but yes, neighbouring.

Got same name, but different birthplaces on two different birth places on separate Censuses. Anyone know if Canning Town and Stratford are neighbouring areas. Or am I clutching at straws here! Any help welcome. That's if anyone understands this rather confused message!!!! Many thanks. Natalie
