Louise You can get some Scottish counties 1841 and 1851 free on www(.)freecen(.)org.uk Remove all brackets I have the 1881 Scottish census cd and am happy to do any look ups you'd like. Please give me as much info as poss on each individual, even if its ballpark ages/places of birth. Cheers Ellen.

If you go to www.genuki.org.uk/big/sct/ you will find loads of links to different areas of Scotland and mny of them have censuses for their own area for 1851 etc. free to access. Shaun

if you go on to the internet put in web ferret take you the site and it will let you down load it for free it is a search engine pretty good one and all you have to do is type in scottish geneology and the number of web sites is good free and ones that are not free

put in scottish cencus finder in to web ferret and it give you a lot off the cencus's but I don't know if they are complete but they have a lot of years
