Railway employees (Clerks and station masters)

how would i go about finding if one of my relatives was a station master or a railway clerk (which in my great grandfathers case is true)?

Do you know which Railway Company employed your relatives? The National Archive in Kew has GWR staff records for 1835 - 1962. Ref RAIL 264. Helen
