Genealogy Chat

Peter, You sound very organised! I'll bear your comments in mind when next tackling my genealogical filing ... long overdue. Only worry is that I'll have yet another lever arch file to burrow in. Do you organise yours literally into the three categories - think, link & trivia? Whilst writing, many thanks for the many postings you've made - they are at least interesting and at most extremely helpful to all of us. Some of you might wounder how I come up with some of the things I put on this page. Well Its becuse I have allway been intrested in Facts and Trivia, and find it hard to forget things I learnt years ago. But when I started doing the Family tree I soon rilised that Some little fact I found out might not be relavent to the person I was looking for at that time But might come in usfull later So I started a Think Link and Triva File, Where I put any thing I consider will be usfull at some time. You will be suprised at the amount of stuff in it. but in the short time I have been on this site Lots of it has come in handy to help others, And some even to help me. And the file has spewned others for IDing, names, media, and lots of others. So why not start your own, apart from any thing eles you will be amazed at the amount of time you will say 'I never knew that' PS I know most of the older members alredy do this Its mainly for newer people on site.
