How much is a will to order?

Just checked the National Archives site for info. Couldnt find anything about fees. Is it still 5 pound for a copy and it said there was a handling fee as well, any idea how much it is? and it is the York probate address, the wills are after 1900 Im after.

Yes after 1858 it is from York and the cost is £5. You need to give them the death date and place and as much other info as you can. I believe they will look for a few years after that date but anymore and you have to pay extra. I gave name, date, place and sent a fiver and got the Will back in a couple of weeks. If you google York Probate Office it will give you all the info you need. Good luck.
