If you know which area you should be able to find the asylums by googling and also see where the records are kept by searching a2a. nell

do you know where they were married or where his sister was born?that might give you a clue as to the are they were in Karen

He wasnt born then, his parents werent married until 1903 so its a bit after this I am looking for, thanks Karen

In the early 1900s my great Uncle was put into a lunatic asylum(his sisters words not mine) she is unsure how long for, what for, but knows which area. Any ideas?
