WOW, cheers guys for all that, Patricia & Kate, thanks never thought of looking on 1901 , doh to me, LOL, thanks will go and have a look, cheers :-) Dea & peta , thanks for the site addy, also i never gave it one thought, of course it would be a number, double doh! to me, it could be 200 spital, and since you point that out, it looks like that, PMSL, cheers and thank you everyone for helping, very grateful need a big cuppa now, LOL. Do you know where the family in question were living in 1901? Or if not, could we have their names so we can see if we can find them in 1901 perhaps that will give us a clue.

If you have a scanner, you could try scanning the part of the cert you are having trouble reading and post it up on the relevant county on RootsChat. http (://) www (.) rootschat (.) com (/) forum (/) welcome (.) php remove spaces and brackets

Hi, had a cert today, - 1904. :-) :-), now, can read most of it, also done a google for maps etc on the area, but still cant find a street which is similar to what im reading at all. does any1 recognise this?????? It looks like ????pital ??eet, bilston, wolverhampton. i thought hospital, but it doesnt look like a 'h' it looks like 2 ' o o' then a 't' ???????? also the ??eet, doesnt look like street at all, as there is defo only 5 letters, LOL, any hints, clues etc, most grateful cheers guys :-)
