Trying to change year of birth

Simon, I assume you imported your tree to this site? All I can suggest is that you edit the original GEDCOM and try reloading it. Crista |

Crista you done it, thanks. I just checked again and it was wrong in the full DOB entry. And this is so much quicker than contacting GR. I can now go to bed! Simon |

Simon, Any year entered in the 'Date of Birth' field will override any year entered in the 'Year of Birth' field. Make sure you change that too. Crista |

Simon, I have just edited some of my details and it seems to be working ok. I went through the Build Your Tree section, found the person i wanted and clicked on the Edit button at the top of the page.( dont forget to click on Save Changes - its right down the bottom of the page ) Elaine x. |

I've accidently entered some 20C birth years as only two digits ie without the 19. For some reason I can't change them to 4 digit numbers is this a common problem? Simon |
