If it is a mental hospital, sometimes the patients are only listed by initials - at least that's true on 1901, where you can check the institution and use your rellie's place of birth to help identify. nell |

well i can't find the man in question anywhere. i know he didn't die until jun 1901 so he should be somewhere |

i know he died at home in liverpool - but he's not in house at the time of the census. the info is thomas melvin b.1858c possibly in liverpool. married margaret o'donnell (same dates & info) died 36 henderson street, liverpool(toxteth park) |
