Hi Smiley Gone around it in a round-about way, found a marriage for an Elizabeth Jane Williams and John Rowe in Dec 1881, which would fit as she was on the 1881 census with the Williams family but not on the 1891. I found a birth of a Martha Hockin Rowe in 1885 in Marazion, Cornwall - which is where the family are from. The name Hockin(?) is a typical middle name for the family. Its not defo that she is an actual rellie but im pretty sure (hopefulyl!) juliana xxxx

Hi Crista, thanks for looking for that for me! Im not able to get on ancestry at the moment, so couldnt check for deaths. Can't find Elizabeth and John Rowe either, maybe they died too! Seems like another dead end (sorry for the pun!) Juliana xx

Hi, thanks for responding! Elizabeth Jane was born to Thomas and Catherine Williams in c1859 in Marazion, Cornwall. Elizabeth and John married in the Dec qter of 1881. I dont, however, have any info on John! juliana xxx

I have found the birth of Martha Hocking Rowe born Marazion, Cornwall to Elizabeth Jane and John Rowe, in c1885. But I can't find her (or in fact any of the family) on any census! Any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Juliana xxxx
