I have little detail but do know that there are NOT alot with this name as I have found none so far. I am hoping that he may appear on a census listed with his family members. CHARLES ALFRED ROGERS- I estimate that he was born 1850c - in London/Middlesex and was a Market Porter. He had a son William born 1886c - who was my step father and also a Porter. Any Charles Alfred in the area may give me a lead. Margaret

This looks like could be them in 1901: Father fits - William older than you said? Only Charles A Rogers in that area of right age.
