IThe problem is the occupation of Thomas Willott born c1823 Mill Meece Staffs and living in Burslem Staffs.RG10/2851 ED10 Folio 110 p39. He could be a pottery worker. Thank you. Hilary.

Hi Hilary It looks like 'Time Keeper' to me. Could he have been the person who clocked people in and out of their shifts at the Pottery Works?? If you think he was definitely working in the potteries, I am sure there are websites about the Staffordshire Potteries which may list the sorts of jobs people did. Or you could visit the Potteries in Stoke on Trent. I went a few years back, and it was fascinating (even without a family link to this area!!). Best wishes Natalie
