There are different Land Registries which cover several counties at a time, and registration came into force in different years for each region. Most land registration began about 1970/80 but it varies from region to region. Only properties which have remained in the same ownership for many years will still be unregistered. You can find out who owns a property at the present time. There is a form you fill in called an LR109 and send off to the Land Registry to receive Office Copy Entries. You will need the postcode, if you don't know the title number. Kathy
