The 'Tree' system on here just sounds like too much effort me! lol I suppose as long as I have the surnames on here ok, the unknowns can stay put, who looks at them anyway?!! But thanks for your replies. Kim x

Hi Kim When I had someone I wanted to remove but it was going to be too much of a pain, I asked GR to do it for me. You could drop them a line and ask if they could remove all the unknowns from your tree Jeanette x

Thanks for that Gerri!! lol Oh well, I'll just have to have 107 more on my tree than I should! Blame my women ancestors for some of the 'Unknown Unknown' though, obviously had never heard of the word 'NO'! lol It can stay as it is. Thanks Kim x

Kim Im afraid you cannot delete if there are children after. Only one way to go Im afraid!....delete the lot and start again. God knows why it works like this and it's VERY frustrating! Sorry to be the bringer of bad news :o(( Gerri (been there, done that) x

I have exported my GED file to GR and I have 107 'Unknown Unknown's' on my tree now. I have tried to delete but the GR system won't let me, it says they are linked to multiple people? Am I doing something wrong? Any advice please, thanks Kim
